Outreach

Community, national and international outreach are key elements in Palisades ministry. We hope to create a community outside the confines of the church building to spread the word of God and share His love. Our members receive so much more than they give. We hope you will feel led to join us in our efforts.

Local Outreach

Habitat for Humanity
San Diego Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit, Christian, ecumenical organization that offers families in need a hand up, not a handout. Palisades volunteers have helped to build houses for those in need.

Military Outreach
The purpose of Military Outreach is to share God's love with military personnel and their families by helping to meet some of their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Presbyterian Crisis Center
Operated and managed by the Presbytery of San Diego, the Crisis Center helps those in need by addressing the social, psychological and spiritual needs of those who may be without the skills or resources to meet them independently.

Saint Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen

San Diego Food Bank

Special Olympics

National Outreach

National LOGOS Program
Having a saving relationship with Christ is the most important thing in this life, and LOGOS seeks to nurture that relationship in youth and children. LOGOS is a ministry where adults, youth, and children learn to model Christ to each other in everything we do - where everyone is a child of God, and no one is treated as if they don't matter

International Outreach

Friends of Los Ninos

One Great Hour of Sharing
Gifts to this ministry support to disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives, and work together to strengthen their families and communities.

Christmas Joy Offering
Typically collected the Sunday before Christmas, the Christmas Joy Offering provides funding for assistance programs that provide support to retired and active church workers and their spouses and families, and also supports Presbyterian-related racial ethnic education through the National Ministries Division of the General Assembly Council
